It’s basic and near my workplace

It feels wrong, like some old person was grown out of it to make it a fake hotel, which it basically is…

First of all the apartment was clean and tidy. The bathroom and kitchen had a good sink and overall it was an okay experience by comparing the location, price and quality of the apartment all together.

It was very noisy. For example you could hear people walking, doors opening and closing. People were smoking in the apartment above and there weren't enough towels and kitchen utilities for the 5 days we stayed at the apartment. The shower started to smell after the second day. The television and the plate under it weren't secured well enough on the wall. It could easily fall down if not being careful. The pillows of the bed were too soft and not supportive enough to property sleep on.

Its quite and peaceful

This time the conditions of toilet wasnot very good. The toilet seat was broken, there were some problem with the washer as well.

Right behind the corner is Jardim Botânico de Lisboa. Very beautiful garden.

Beware of false advertisement. At least one of the flats in this property is in a damp smelly basement full of mold and cockroaches. Read below about our horryfying stay. Firstly and horrifyingly - mould. I’m sure the owners are aware of the humongous hideous mould growth on the wall, behind the bed right behind the pillows. RIGHT. BEHIND. THE. PILLOWS! It’s over ONE METER long and at least 30 cm tall. (Plethora of photo evidence is available). I’m having trouble comprehending that the owners think it’s acceptable for any breathing being aside from cockroaches. I wouldn’t stay there if they paid me! Yet here we are… I have asthma. I’ve been wheezing and have had difficulty breathing for several days after staying there. Secondly, the photos are heavily photoshopped to make the rooms look bright, especially the basement ones. We were not aware we were getting a basement “flat” until we received the check-in instructions. The room had no windows. There was a travesty of a “window” which was tiny and about two meters high off the floor. No ladders were available, and chairs alone were not enough to reach it. We had to climb and hold each other awkwardly and dangerously to open it, only to be letting in pavement level air and exhaust from cars passing by less than a meter away from the “window”. Due to health reasons, windows were EXTREMELY important to us, hence we chose this place with nice big windows, as was deceivingly shown in photos. Imagine our shock and absolute horror when we arrived to a smelly damp basement flat full of MOLD WITHOUT WINDOWS. I question the legality of it. According to the Portuguese law, rooms without windows are NOT considered living spaces and must not be rented out as such. And lastly, cockroaches. We met the whole family of these indigenous residents of the apartment that we were oh so lucky to be sharing this abomination of a flat with. My child freaked out, rightfully so, and we barely slept the second night.

The furniture of the apartment and how is designed is nice. The position in town is not to bad, the area is quiet, but beautiful.

We arrived and all the instructions we got were wrong. Nobody is there to help you. We could not enter the apartment. The door handle was broken and there was no keysafe. We had to invest quite some time in calling a callcenter and writing messages to get informed that they forgot to tell us that they replaced the lock and put the key somewhere else. They promised to repair the door handle but they never did that. The apartment is in the basement, there is only one door in the whole apartment to let fresh air inside, but there it stinks after toilet.
