Cosy Baixa Apartment2

the property was located in a great part of town, right in the heart of Chiado/Baixa. The rooms were spacious and it had a lot of natural light. as well the front door was secured by pin, which was very practical.

the only suggestion I would make is to switch the sofa, it’s not the most comfortable one and the living room is a great place to hangout and play games, so a more comfortable sofa would’ve been nice.

The location was PERFECT. We stayed with a family of 6 including 2 small children. Baixa 2 was able to accommodate our needs and special requests for the children. Also during our stay, we lost our engagement ring 4 days prior to our wedding ceremony in a different city. Lucy, the manager, was very helpful in returning the ring to us. She was very transparent and cooperative every step of the way. She helped us locate and return the ring when she had NO incentive to help us after our checkout. Lucy rescued our trip.

That it was large and roomy. It was located in a nice area of Lisbon.

The loft style bed. It was unusable. The ceiling was too low. Didn't like the ideas of those stairs. Might be ok for teenagers.

The location is right in the heart of the Baixa Chiado neighborhood. The elevator is very close by, as is the waterfront. The Copenhagen Coffee Lab is nearby, as is Pau de Canela and the Confeitaria Nacional bakery, which we loved for breakfast.

There was a bit of noise from the lively street below. It wasn't so much that it became a problem, but just something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. One bedroom was on the opposite side, away from Rua dos Correeiros, so you can put the heavier sleepers next to the street and light sleepers in the main bedroom away from the street. The doorknob on the main bedroom was a little hard to turn, but nothing insurmountable.

Lucy, the host had an excellent communication skills. She accmodated our request for an early check-in. The direction for car access and laggage transportation could be very challenging in old Lisbon, but Lucy provided an excellent direction. She provided us with some nice treats. The apartment was huge, spacious, clean and well-equipped.

Parking in old lisbon is a challenging issue. Public parking just was few minutes away at convenient location, although parking is very expensive in old Lisboa overall. This problem had nothing to do with this place.

Location, overall apartment
