Pilar - Alfama River View

The location is fantastic! We had some problems at the beginning but it was easy to reach the host that fixed the problem promptly. Everything was clean.

The two separate beds were uncomfortable and there’s really no privacy when it comes to the bedrooms. Only a very thin sliding door. Would be perfect for a family with young children though.

This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have had. The apartment does not match what is advertised. Several key features are misleading or simply not true. The “double bed” is just two single beds pushed together, constantly separating and making noise. Combined with extremely creaky floors, it was impossible to rest properly. The balcony is not a real balcony, but rather a very small, unusable space that does not match the listing photos. This was one of the main reasons I chose this property. The air conditioning was not functioning properly, and the apartment felt cold and uncomfortable. The bathroom situation was unacceptable. The toilet is not properly fixed to the floor, and the seat does not stay up, making it very difficult to use. There is also no toilet brush provided. In the shower, the fixtures are loose and poorly installed. Parking is advertised as “free”, which is misleading. There is no actual free parking provided, and I had to pay extra, which contradicts the filters used when booking. Overall, this apartment has serious maintenance issues and does not reflect its rating. Basic standards are not met. I cannot recommend this property and would not stay here again.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Alfama River View beschreibt die Lage perfekt ☺️ Der Blick aus dem Küchenfenster ist fantastisch, die Lage zentral. Tolle Restaurants in der Nähe und ein schöner Flohmarkt vor der Tür. Die Schlafzimmer gehen nach hinten in einen Garten raus. Man ist mittendrin, dafür ist es trotzdem ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht und die Wohnung ist sauber. Man erreicht die Wohnung über einen Fahrstuhl, was sehr komfortabel ist. Dadurch, dass die Schlafmöglichkeiten nur mit einer Schiebetür voneinander getrennt werden können, eignet sich die Unterkunft vor allem für Familien. Die Kommunikation mit Victor lief sehr gut 👍
