The location was perfect for us because we were visiting a family member who lives nearby. The apartment is not in the center but there are a couple of bus lines close by that will take you to the subway, and a train station is within walking distance. If you rent a car, you have the option of parking in the garage or, if you don't want to navigate the narrow Portuguese garages, you can park on the on the street (where it is easy to find parking). Also, there is a grocery store in the building, where you can buy fresh bread and pastries.
