Cardal Apartment

Accommodating host, great location, everything we needed for a brilliant 4 night stay in Lisboa. You can sleep on the sofa bed which was pretty comfortable. The beds were comfy too. Plug in heaters and extra blankets were provided as we went in March. The apartment was walking distance (about 20 mins) to the main square and there was an Aldi very nearby which we used to stock up on essentials. There was a cabinet with plasters and paracetamol provided which was really handy. The shower water was hot and good pressure.

The window in the bathroom into one of the bedrooms was slightly strange - it meant you could hear someone going to the toilet from the bedroom. There was a damp patch on the ceiling in the other bedroom like there had been a leak from the apartment above.

Niestety po ulewach jakie nawiedzily Lizbonę zamokła ściana w jednym z pokojów i powodowało to dużą wilgotność w pomieszczeniu.

Come dalle recensioni brutto odore nelle scale per accedere all appartamento, ma soprattutto scale sporche . Interno appartamento poco pulito, la seconda camera da letto puzzava di muffa. Tv presenti ma non utilizzabili perché una non funzionante e l altra senza telecomando. Ambiente comune ricco di accessori ma poco curato con pianta secca che non si capisce a cosa serva se non prendere polvere ( visibile )come il resto. Cucina inutilizzabile perché poco pulita , ci sono stati lasciati degli alimenti ( zucchero/caffè/sale ecc) inutilizzabili perché non più commestibili e le capsule del caffè incompatibili con la macchinetta. Non ci torneremo.

We really enjoyed our stay! Luis is such a friendly and helpful host, and he speaks excellent English, which made everything super easy. The apartment is in a great location — just a few minutes’ walk from Avenida metro and close to Alfama and Chiado. It’s clean, comfortable, and well-equipped (including oven and microwave). We especially liked that it has two separate bedrooms and that the bathroom is accessible from the hallway. We’d definitely stay here again!
