Rising Sun

The fresh wind in August from the camera to the kitchen allowed to not have to turn on the AC. The kitchen was well furnished.

It was terribly dirty. Dust everywhere like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The bathroom sink reeked from the drains, which accompanied by the fact that there's no window there and the vent doesn't work, made for a smelly bathroom and corridor for the whole 7 days of our stay. The AC filters were black from accumulated dust and we had them to rinse them before even thinking of using them.

Everything was fine, good room in good price. Close to bus stop, metro and regio train station, so its great starting point for exploring Lisbon or Sintra.

Small spots of mold on walls and celling,mainly in the bathroom. Unfortunately, I know it a very common isssue in older buildings in Lisbon

There was visible mold in the bathroom, and a complete lack of ventilation there made the entire apartment feel damp and musty. Mold was also visible on the window shutters, and paint was peeling off in several areas. To make matters worse, there were wet, dirty rags left in a small storage closet – a very unhygienic and uncomfortable sight that only added to the overall feeling of neglect. The bed was another issue – any movement from one person made the whole bed shake. On top of that, it was very uncomfortable and hard to sleep in. I am genuinely shocked by how many positive reviews this place has. It was a totally unpleasant experience and I would not recommend staying here.

Spacious, bright apartment, comfortable bed, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet neighborhood, very kind host. Close to supermarket and Apolonia train/metro station.

It would be useful to have a coat rack in the hallway and some towel racks in the bathroom. It would be good to have at least salt, pepper and some napkins in the kitchen.

The host was very helpful and hospitable. We had a problem with air conditioning and he came the same day and fixed it. On the last day, he let us to stay longer in the apartment.

The area where the apartment is located is not attractive. Humidity is felt in the apartment and there is not enough equipment (where to hang towels, napkins, shelves for cosmetics, coffee capsules, etc.).

It’s a nice spacious apartment. Very comfortable bed and a nice large closet. The view from the bedroom is spectacular. There is a large kitchen/living room area. The apartment has large windows and there is a lot of light. Although it’s not in the city centre it’s well located near the Santa Apolónia metro that takes you to the main city attractions.

Would love some hangers in the bathroom for wet towels.

Good location. 7 minutes from the Santa Apolonia station. Tasty tapas bar near the house was a perfect option to spend the evening. Communication with the hosts was good and they responded quickly. Its not a city center but in 20-30 minutes you can be near the praca de comercio. I can recommend this place. We enjoyed our stay :)

There was some problems with air condition at the begining. And there could be some space to dry the towels.
