Our apartment was on the 3rd floor, it doesn’t have a lift but that’s how it is almost everywhere in Lisbon. It was certainly a good place and good value for money.

The location was amazing & the communication with the property owner was really great.

The location is great. Very close to the Praça do Rossio, Rossio train station and subway station. Very close to the Elevador de Santa Justa and Largo do Carmo. As the location is superb, the street is considersbly busy and, thus, one may expect to hear noise and/or music playing until 23h. The beds are comfortable, refrigerator is big enough to store your goods with no issues. There is 1 toilet and 1 separated bathroom, which is good.

Seen from the point of view of a family with a 16 months toddler, the stairs to access the apartment are very inconvenient: very steep/narrow. It doesn't have a high chair for the baby or a anti-slippery mat in the shower area. The apartment is old, with low maintenance regarding water installations: one can see water infiltration all around the apartment. Moreover, there is a certain weird smell in one of the bathrooms. The floor is made of wood, so one can expect to hear noises when walking, which can make your baby wake up suddenly. Finally, the crib has no mattress. We asked a baby crib and a linen to the baby, which, surprisingly came with no mattress. I asked the hostess to arrange one, but she said that the crib didn't come with a proper mattress, which was disappointing to us, given the price paid for the property and the value of a mattress. We saw no interest of the hostess to solve our request. I think that the value paid is not proportional to the level of the apartment itself, and I think the hostess could have arranged a mattress for the baby. If you are in a group of friends, probably you don't care about these things, then I think it's worth renting this property just by the location and confortable beds.

The area was good, the accommodation is centrally located. We rented 3 apartments.

We rented 3 apartments. One was pretty much renovated, the other was in terrible condition, we had constant electricity problems, mould on the walls, the butor was outdated and unusable. The 3rd apartment was soaking wet after the first night that water was pouring out of the switch cupboard, completely soaking the bed underneath. Only by a miracle did the person sleeping there survive the night. The landlord eventually offered us another place to stay, but it was too far away, so we had to find one ourselves. In the end, the fee for this apartment was refunded. Overall, I would not recommend it to anyone, even though the host was helpful and cooperative.

The location was perfect

A musty smell on entering the apartment, definitely needs windows opened regularly. Duvets need individual covers, sheets and towels were spotless. Neighbor very noisy on first night.
