Sehr schönes Apartment unterhalb vom Schloss. Die Gegend ist am Tag stark von Touristen frequentiert abends und nachts aber vollkommen ruhig. Bis zur Bushaltestelle (Linie 737) sind es nur 2 Minuten. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und versorgte uns mit Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in Lissabon und Porto, was unsere nächste Destination war.

We found the unit to be well equipped and clean - the modern conveniences in a historic home were great (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.)! The hosts offered proactive recommendations and checked in each day. They were great to work with and made us feel welcomed from the moment we landed in Lisboa. Highly recommend visiting nearby LUDO’s for breakfast/coffee - delicious!!

As others have mentioned, this wouldn’t be a good choice for anyone with mobility concerns. The stairs getting into the flat are very steep and throughout the loft, where the bed/bathroom are located, there are different steps to navigate.

The location is one of the best just beside of Castelo de S Jorge , about less one minutes of walking. Moreover, It is so convenient to reach major local attractions in both of Alfama and Baixa within walking distances. Rodrigo as our service staff is excellent. In particular, he welcomed us on the site for check-in and helped us to move our luggage from outside into the apartment. Also, he came over to help us again to move our luggage from the apartment to the taxi while we checked out. The host, Barbara & Pedro, did an exceptional job about pre-check-in by providing all-kinds of information about check-in instructions and local tourist information by using emails a few days early before we arrived, and arranged Rodrigo to welcome and help us since we are over 70s old. During our stay, the host created a chat group of WhatsApp with us to keep connection between open and smooth in order to meet any necessary requests that we may raise. We never have so nice experience before with rental hosts during traveling.

Location, cleanliness, attention to details, fabulous hosts who could not do enough to ensure we had a great stay. Recommendations for parking, restaurants, where to visit. Even left us a bottle of wine. So lovely.

location fun- a little more difficult to access because of location - but it was fine excellent communications by host - host left us with regional specialties which we enjoyed

The flat was in the nicest place of oldtown. Very comfortable place and very wellcome and friendly helpfull staff
