couldn't stay longer

Had an enjoyable stay here while visiting Loreto to scuba dive. Our host gave clear instructions to obtain the key, and was readily on hand to address our questions via WhatsApp. The room we got was spacious and nicely decorated with Mexican-themed and made crafts. There is also a small outdoor area where one can sit back in the evening to enjoy a drink and watch the sky turn dark. :) The location was pretty good. It was about a 10-15 min walk to the promenade, and there was a supermarket (Super Ley Express) around the block. There is also an ATM (Banco Azteca) around two blocks away if I recall correctly. As Loreto is pretty small, one can walk easily to the various restaurants and the central plaza where the cathedral and museum are located.

The WiFi was occasionally slow at times, probably because we were uploading video files and doing so at peak hour, i.e. evening, when other guests were probably online as well.

Host was really communicative. Easy self check in. Location was great. felt clean.

The location was good, walking distance to town, markets and eateries. Manager responsive to our needs. Pleasant property with common outdoor areas.

Better layout of cooking area and appliances. Bathroom could use shelves or areas to place items. Shower stall could use shelve for soap, shampoo et al. Bedding should fit the bed (our was too short for the bed size).

Good location on a quiet street, a short walk from the town square. Handy also to a large supermarket. The kitchen was well equipped and it was convenient to cook in the apartment.

Advertized as 1 bedroom, was a studio. tiny bathroom smelled of sewer fumes. overpriced. bathroom - no towel rod or tp holder or place in shower to put soap. beds for 4, dishes for 2. windows 6 inches from outside concrete walls. properties on both sides very noisy. pictures misleading, just like headline in ad.

Great location! Easy walking to the centre.

Lots of amenities are lacking; not a huge deal breaker but it became frustrating after some time. We read the actual guest book in the Spartans people had suggested some additions over a year ago, and they still hadn’t been put in! For example: no lamp at the bedside, so either leave the bathroom light on, or stumble across the room in the dark. One bowl, three plates, two wine glasses…. No matches or lighter (we discovered this at 8pm when we wanted to cook a quick pasta, and had no way to get the burner lit!). These are all little things but they started to add up! There’s no hot water in the kitchen, only in the shower (not a big deal but just be prepared) and no dish towels. As I said, it was clean, and also beautifully decorated! So with a few small additions it would really be perfect.
