Riverside

Apartment felt “homely”. Convenient location close to supermarket, shops, cafes, restaurants, cinema and great river path walk. Owner/manager very helpful with lots of tips for things to do while in the area. We could see the “centre of New Zealand” from our balcony!

New owners went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Little things mean a lot like offering us a cold drink on arrival, having baskets in the laundry so you don’t have to put your clean washing back in a dirty bag! Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Would love to stay again

Fantastic location beside Riverside Walk and an easy short walk into the centre of town. Spacious two bedroom apartment, very comfortable, very clean and a peaceful nights sleep. Exceptional hosts Wayne & Kim so friendly and welcoming. On site laundry. A couple of nearby craft beer venues, Sprig & Fern plus Two Thumbs are worth visiting. We really enjoyed our dinner at Harry’s Hawker House. Also had a great middle eastern breakfast at The little Dove Cafe just around the corner. Suter Gallery is lovely, also just around the corner. The Riverside Walk on your doorstep and for a view it’s a 15-20mins uphill climb to get to The Centre of NZ, even if that’s not accurate! We loved our relaxing short stay. And definitely recommend staying here in the two bedroom Riverside apartment.

Lovely location, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, onsite parking, lovely view from patio, friendly hosts.

Would’ve loved a King sized bed upstairs, no frosted glass in bathroom window, needed an extractor fan in bathroom as mould on ceiling, heat pump would be good downstairs.

Loved staying at Riverside. Spotless, location was great and host friendly and helpful. Quiet convenient location and would highly recommended to other potential guests.

Everything. Met at reception with a really friendly and helpful lady. Accommodation was everything we hoped it would be and more. Location was excellent with walking distance to supermarket and stores. Accommodation was really clean and comfortable with everything on hand that you needed. If you did need anything else you only had to ask. The bubbling brook outside our apartment was just magic., complete with swimming ducks. And if that wasn't enough, their fur babies Bertie and Poppy were just a delight with occasional visits from them. I was a bit sick one night and as we had to leave the next day they kindly offered to clean our room last so I could rest longer and also gave me a bucket in case I was sick on the next part of our next journey. Can not rate this property high enough. Everything was perfect and if we are lucky enough to stay in Nelson again we will definitely be staying here.
