I like the portable cooker. It was easy to use and clean. The bathroom was easy to keep tidy My bed in the big room was comfortable and the distance from the smaller room was good as I snore.

The place is immaculately clean and the grounds incredibly tidy. It's right next to Melrose gardens and Fairfield Park and just a short walk into the city. Gavin the host is really friendly and helpful and his little dog Harvey is always up for a good scratch or cuddle! The tearoom at Melrose House straight across the road is fabulous.

The code was on a card waiting for us. We had a washer/dryer machine! A spare bed was more comfortable for my back. Directly across the street is Melrose House, a beautifully maintained historical house with cafe and the most gorgeous gardens, free to visit.

The steep driveway was a challenge. The front and back steps were too high and short to feel safe. The kitchen was tiny and awkward to use.

What breakfast????? An open bag of muesli out of date.milk provided also a week out of date, but later told by owner that he buys it fresh then freezes it.

No privacy, shared all of outdoors with owner who was ever present & wanting to chat.could hear owner turning the pages of his book through the wall.the lack of kitchen prep area even to make a hot drink was difficult.Drawers grubby, the property needed a deep clean.Induction plate provided but no instructions & nowhere to sit it.generally a lack of effort very apparent.

The owner was friendly and helpful, the little dog was so friendly. It was a lovely location, quiet,comfortable bed and nice bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. The huge TV had a spare HDMI slot to plug in my Chromecast so we could watch MySky. Excellent WiFi. Parking was excellent.

I'm very short and a bit disabled, I found it very challenging to get into the property because it had 3 very steep steps. Most things in the kitchen were out of reach. I got the hang of it though and had a lovely time.

Friendly host. Comfortable rooms.

Lack of rubbish bins, particularly for compost and recycling.

Quiet street in a nice area, quick walk to city center for restaurants and shops. Spacious 2 bedroom, with kitchenette and nice bathroom.

Gavin and Harvey were very welcoming, and the location was very quiet and relaxing even though only there for a short time, but it was awesome overall.
