The apartment is very nice and very spacious. Loved the vintage look and all the little details. The host was great, very friendly and helpful.

The apartment looks better on photos, its a little tired looking in real life. Some of the curtains are handling loose. Shower cabin is very small and tight, was not comfortable to use. Mestre is not very safe area, it felt very tense and uneasy around.

Needs Air Conditioning in the livingroom

It was a great time at this apartment! Loved the antique furniture. As we love to produce photo content, we couldn't resist to do a photo shoot in these decorations :))). This is definitely a flat with history! The owner sent us video instructions on how to check in and everything was easy. There is a tram stop a couple of minutes walk away. We preferred to take the tram to the island, 20 minutes and in a place, it was really convenient. There is also a bus stop right next to the house. The flat had everything you could need for 4 days. A bit bothered by the noise from the street at night, but that's a small thing. I can say that I would recommend this place, I think you won't regret it!

Great location- the bus station to go to Venice and Airport is right in front close to the house. Coop is near by, convenient the to buy food and drink. - the apartment is quite spacy (big) It is good for a family but you have to sleep on the floor.

- the bed room mattress is a little bit soft. - the sofa feel old and dirty. - open many keys I don’t like but it is not so a big deal compared with the location.

Lovely vintage old style apartment in Mestre with good access to Venice on bus just around the corner takes about 20 mins. Good sized CoOp supermarket also around corner 2 mins. walk, tobacconist to buy bus tickets too. Apartment is huge with lovely old furniture but a very comfortable bed and couch. Wonderful crisp linen sheets and great pillows. Air conditioning is ONLY in the bedroom so the rest can get hot. Shutter blind in the dining area of lounge room not working but rest were so kept them closed. Kitchen has all you need except no cloths (tea towels) provided or washing liquid or dishwasher tablets. Dishwasher was leaking which host was advised of. Still worked ok. Access to apartment is through security gate with key, plus door to apartment building another key, then 2 keys to apartment lobby and finally another key to apartment door, phew! Managed to work it out after 3 days. Host was responsive with good videos for finding the key. Locker explanation for key is NOT a locker. It is a key lock box hanging on a railing of a park opposite apartment building, not a real issue, found it eventually. Clothes line from kitchen but only 4 pegs. Long way down if stuff falls off! Little clothes horse so enough for hanging a few items.

Would have expected tea towels in the kitchen rather than paper towels only. Air conditioning only in bedroom meant apartment was quite hot during the day if you’re needing to rest. Use the shutters on windows.
