Minori Apartment

The location and bed were super great The host was very helpful considering there was some problems with the appliances

A spacious and comfortable apartment in a central location in Minori. We had great communication before our trip and we were met at the property right on time. We particularly enjoyed the lovely little balcony with a view of the surrounding neighbourhood.

Nothing! You will not regret booking this apartment and I would do so again without hesitation.

Staying in Minori to visit the Amalfi Coast is a really great idea. It's much less overrun by tourists. It really is a village with locals, quiet and friendly, with a lovely little beach to relax on. The appartement is spatious, clean and very well located in the town.

Nothing, everything was great!

The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and beautiful. We loved our stay here. The location is right in the centre of Minori, allowing access on foot. Right downstairs there was a local fruit store, a bakery and a meat store. Thanks to the excellent kitchen we cooked our dinner at the apartment and enjoyed the fresh produce from the aforementioned stores.

I had some difficulty parking my car (which is definitely to be expected on the Amalfi coast!). To benefit from the special rate for parking that the accommodation offers it was necessary to obtain a paper ticket from the parking machines (to display this together with the permit). But the parking machines did not accept my card and I did not have enough coins. I solved it by parking at the full rate with the EasyPark app, and obtaining coins for the next day. With coins it worked very well.

Good space and good facilities

Location was just superb, a nice view of the church, plenty of restaurants around and a supermarket just downstairs the building, and the apartment is very close to the beach (around 3 minutes walk). Zajra was easy to reach through Whatsapp, and she would send us info during our trip regarding transportation or events taking place in the area which was lovely of her. We were allowed to check-in 30 mins earlier. There is a guidebook provided for the stay (for trips, restaurants, ferries, etc.) There is an air-condition in every room which worked very well.

I was disappointed with the apartment all in all, it felt like the apartment wasn't well-prepared when we checked-in. - The bathroom has mold problems. - There is a gap on the bottom of the shower's panel, so every time we would shower, water would flow onto the floor and we will have to clean that which was a hassle. -During our check-in, Zajra stressed 4 times not to take the ferry-schedule out of the folder as if we are children, once would have been enough. - There were some kitchen things missing: No new dish-sponge was provided. No bowls for eating cereal or soup. No big knives for salad or chopping. Electric kettles had so much limescale in them that they weren't useable. - We stayed in a total of 5 nights and only 1 towel set was provided for each person. Were they expecting us to use the same towel for 6 days? - The host expects you to leave the kitchen and bathroom as clean and tidy as at the time of check-in. So basically you should expect some cleaning before you leave. That was very odd for me, I have stayed in many accommodation via Booking.com and Airbnb and not once I was asked to clean anything. - There is also a trash schedule for everyday, I know that this has nothing to do with the host but in general, it was a little confusing and stressful at some point. - The page says there is a flat TV but it was more of a monitor with channels on it. So don't expect much from it, you can't connect devices or watch Netflix on it, etc. - Some rules were not mentioned on their Booking.com page which should have been as they are important for the host (image attached).
