Apartment was perfectly located. Very spacy and equipped with all we needed for a few days stay. Very cooperative hosts, that went the extra mile to accommodate our requests.

All was good.

Location and views from the apartment were fabulous. Well stocked, comfortable and clean. Parking close by. Everything you could need.

Toilet upstairs broken and fan on its last legs so pretty hot in the bedroom upstairs.

Great location in the heart of the old town, spacious accommodation

Everything needs some TLC: kitchen light not working, coffee machine didn’t work, several chipped bowls/plates, some blinds don’t retract, no handrail on slippy wooden stairs, bathroom door that even a mid-height person has to duck through, etc. Our 4th location on a month long holiday in Catalonia - all of the others have been far superior. By far the worst aspect was the managing company. They did not levy the local tax with rent as every other place has done, then sent the wrong message saying our card was refused (but payment had already gone through!) then sent a message saying they would not give the address until we paid the tax by bank transfer (but didn’t give an IBAN number) and we would have to collect the key ourselves!! 10 minutes away through crowded cobbled streets with narrow or no pavement with 3 suitcases?? My husband is in his 70s and I’m fast approaching that. Ridiculous. Only the intervention of customer care at Booking.com saved us from doing this after my downright refusal to collect keys from a different place. Even so we had to visit the office to pay the tax - all for the sake of €6.60. Then they didn’t book us a taxi despite 3 requests. Very poor.

Nice and spacious. Great location with a WONDERFUL view. We were only there for two nights and really it was just a place to sleep since I wanted to spend every waking hour wandering Girona, but it was a great little spot. If I were staying a full week in Girona I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Other reviews mention it, but yeah. The bathrooms have an odor issue with a sewer gas smell coming from the drains. BUT - while noticeable - it wasn't really *that* bad. It's not like I hang out in a bathroom all day. The review claiming they had to open windows and could never eat in the apartment is over stating it big time. Maybe it fluctuates or depends on time of year, but we just shut the bathroom door and ignored it. Beyond that - we had a slight issue with the door locks being really stiff, making it hard to use the deadbolt, but that wasn't that big a deal either. The host was responsive to an email regarding the issue and that was good enough for me.

As in other reviews, there was a horrible smell coming from the drains, probably due to old plumbing. It was bad.

Location was fantastic, apartment was spacious, two lovely comfortable beds, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, everything you could need.

The smell of the drains 🤢 it was really awful, I know it's an old building but it really made us feel sick. Was worse in the afternoon, we had to open all the windows, that helped a bit but we could never have eaten in there.
