Poor lighting in bathroom

Location was excellent and getting access was very easy. The studio is compact and had everything we needed for a short stay.

The shower is extremely small My husband and I are tall and thin and we had problems maneuvering taking a shower. A heavier person would not be comfortable! Overall, the property seemed a bit tired. Regardless, the location made up for a lot!

its perfect location and just walking Distance of everything in girona old town.. added all the little small details like shampoo..body wash...detergent even for washing machine and washing liquids.. some snacks and coffee machine and capsules are available... basic kitchen equipment are complete... its really best perfect apartment... entry to apartment was also communicated well

Because of the great location, it’s unavoidable that there was noise coming from the street at night. Not a problem if you use earplugs

Marta was a welcoming and attentive host. She answered questions promptly and was proactive in asking if I needed assistance. I found her to be friendly and genuine. That said, this review is in no way critical, it is for informational purposes only. I do this because these are the types of reviews I look for and appreciate. The property is extremely well situated in close proximity to everything one could want to do within the vicinity of Old Town Girona. It was furnished as described and I appreciated the abundance of hot water. I loved that there were room darkening shutters across the windows which helped in blocking both the noise and light. The building is well lit and secure. The host provided really good quality bath linens and the bathroom had a plug in freshener. There was a good quality iron and sufficient hangars for clothing. Both the stovetop and refrigerator were in good working order and there were enough cooking and eating utensils for a short stay.

The overall cleanliness of the apartment appeared to be surface only: the shower, washing machine, microwave, and trash receptacles especially could use a good scrubbing. I had to scrub the detergent drawer of black mold before using the washer. The bed linens are very worn and have noticeable rips and holes, and the blankets could definitely use an upgrade. The pillows were an egnima; 2 were extremely firm and 2 were what appeared to be bits of broken foam pieces. The mattress is an IKEA Malfors foam mattress, less than 4" thick: it contains no comfort layers or springs, and, as it is resting on wooden slats, is not conducive to a comfortable sleep. The lighting in the bathroom is very dim, thus if you wear makeup it would be best to bring your own lighted compact. While the shower has plenty of hot water and a reasonable water pressure, please be aware that the enclosure itself is @ 2' on each side. It was so tight I had to open both sliding doors in order to wash my legs and feet. The building itself is quite noisy at night from the other residents so it is advisable to have earplugs on hand. Overall, I believe I paid for location above everything else,but I'm not mad about that. With a bit of attention this property could be an absolute gem.

Excellent location. Clean tidy and everything needed for a short stay. Muffins and Oreo’s left by the kettle too!
