Galligants Apartment

Terrific apartment in the heart of the old town. Huge amount of space. Full kitchen. Two bathrooms. The parking garage is in the building (which is unclear). Getting a car up there is not the easiest, but if you're used to European old town driving you'll be fine. The folks handing the keys and check-in are very friendly. Checking out was very easy.

Although the parking garage was in the building, this was unclear from the materials, including even the very detailed printed instructions with photos that they gave me at check in. Eventually I found it, right in the building, LOL. No bikes allowed in the apartment, but they provide a rack with a lock to store them in the parking garage, which itself is also secure with a garage door. Can fit only 2 bikes there on the rack. The only other nuisance was the they key pick up is about a 10 min walk from the apartment location, but I did not have to return the keys at checkout. Just left them in the apt and closed the door behind me. Lots of stairs, so the apartment is not a good choice for old/infirmed.

Cleanliness, laundry facilities, location and view.

Awkward having to collect keys from a lock box quite a distance from apartment when you have arrived by train, have luggage and have caught a taxi to apartment. Some tea, coffee, milk supplies, shampoo etc would be good when you are paying a significant tariff.

Accommodation was very nice and full of character. Perfect beautiful location. Host was very helpful with explaining (in english) how to get to the property.

I didn't like lack of clenelest, Bathroom mat- mouldy Shelf- under the stairs was dusty and hairy No soap in the bathrooms, wet mop was left in the bathroom, should be more towels.

Apt needs a refresh of paint and upstairs bath tub needs a very good clean.

Location. Space.

Bedrooms very warm during hot days. No privacy in upstairs bedroom. Broken Nespresso maker. Little light in upstairs bathroom due to d several non working lightbulbs.

Location was superb, facilities were exactly as described. We were delayed on our arrival so the instructions to collect the keys were very clear along g with apartment entry process.

Apartment is on 2nd floor without a lift. Carpark is in basement so be aware you are up and down a lot of fairly narrow stairs - not for the unfit.

difficult to get to with a car because of the narrow streets which are full of tourists

The apartment is located right on the edge of the old city within walking distance to all the major medieval monuments of Girona.

The apartment was very clean. It lacked any extras like water or toiletries.

the bed upstairs is rather hard and creaks every time someone moves.
