The apartment is in a great location, right in the heart of the Old Town. It’s very quiet and feels safe. The apartment itself was tidy, and Catalina was very professional – she explained everything clearly and even gave us recommendations for good local restaurants

However, there were some things that could be improved. The bathroom tiles had mould and the bathroom really needs a deep clean. The dishes and glasses were dusty and greasy, the towels smelled of cigarette smoke, and the cupboards had a musty, suffocating smell. The cleaning service fee was £50, but unfortunately, the cleanliness did not match that price. It was also very hot inside, and there was only one fan. The toilet paper rolls were not new but already partially used. There was no kettle in the apartment

"Do not waste your time here! Pay more, go elsewhere. Worst Booking experience I've had."

The check in Agent Cat was amazing! She was friendly and explained everything and went above and beyond to support me through all of the issues. She would do well running her own company.

First I was talking to I can only guess is the owner or host, then I was talking to Winahost, who didn't explain why they were taking over talking to me, so now I'm talking to another person? That's very weird and confusing. Then I get passed over to another company called Halo who also don't explain themselves clearly. So now I'm talking to a 3rd person/company. Then I was passed on a 4th time to the check in person. The only person who explained themselves well, how it works and what I had to to do. 1) I should not have been passed around between 4 people. I am autistic and this was very confusing, I think it would be even for a neurotypical person. 2) I was not getting my questions answered about the bizarre invoice which said I owed some money, which after talking to booking.com customer services I found out this was not true. Winahost completely ignore direct messages on booking's own webchat until you complain about them. 3) You have to sign a contract, pay a huge deposit which is much higher than most places and give a lot of details. As an autistic adult this took me a long time to gather all the requested info and was mentally exhausting. 4) The apartment was disgusting! There was black mould everywhere, the kitchenware looked like it was put back without being washed, there was rubbish swept under bed, the shower had massive cracks in the walls, the so called balcony was a not really a balcony, more of a storage area. So that was incorrectly described. 5) Winahost were replying to my complaints with really strange answers, so this autistic brain had to work overtime to understand their terrible gramma and random comments. They were not supportive or helpful. I had to fight. I had a full meltdown after travelling all day and coming into a warzone. They forced me to stay for one night then told me I had already left. Yes it made no sense. 6) There was no way to block out the light and there is no aircon only an old fan.

"Ideal location, lacking in other aspects"

Location was ideal, very central, just as expected. Property served its purpose but it should have been clean and tidy on arrival just like the photo suggests. Ideal for a short stay because of the location.

Cleanliness of property was below standard. Strangely the cleaner turned up on our second day, let herself in ( we were in) and then realised she'd arrived at the wrong property - not very encouraging!

The accommodation was vey conveniently located in a quiet area. The check-in staff was very helpful and she went way beyond her role to assist me.

Hygiene issues: the duvet had no cover and the coverlet there had not been cleaned (covered in twigs, burrs and dried strains from being taken outdoors). Complete lack of communication by management: they did not respond to requests to get a duvet cover (I was there 3 nights) by text and via the Booking.com app where I only received automated messages. The check in person tried to help me with this, in vain. Unacceptable.
