Chalet Nyati

Absolutely everything- we were stunned by how beautifully designed and decorated it was, the hosts clearly place their guests’ comfort at the forefront. The apartment was the perfect blend of the traditional and the modern. We so enjoyed noticing the little details. Although we’d booked for 6 nights we wished we’d booked for longer! After a wonderful sleep the best thing was to step out onto the patio with incredible views, so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were lovely people

Very Comfortable , clean and well maintained 2 br apartment on lower level of small chalet . Well equipped kitchen , peaceful semi -rural location near base of one the ski lifts in Gstaad , friendly hosts , nice renovated bathrooms. Location is good for skiers and hikers being next to the Wasserngrat ski lift ( 3-4 intermediate /advance ski trails ) . Very nice for people or small family ( 4 people ) who like a mountain rural atmosphere and being active .

No washing machine/ dryer machine for longer stays . A little far in hill from centre of Gstaad centre area unless you have a car which is 8 min drive winding mountain road . ( there is a local bus service every hour though if you don’t have a car as taxi is very expensive in Gstaad ) . No immediate food or cafe services nearby ( a small cafe kiosk is at ski lifts during peak winter ) so you will have to cook or go out to restaurants in Gstaad ( very expensive upper end and not much choice for families to eat .. Wally’s burger van , Rialto pizza and Victoria’s cafe )
