Wallinga Farmstay Mudgee

Quiet, private location. Lovely location, close to town. Tidy and cute cottage with decent facilities.

We could not lock the place each time we left the cottage. It was tolerable for the time we were there as the place is somewhat isolated, but it's such a basic function that it's ultimately not acceptable. The host said their partner/other host would come out to take a look--it seemingly didn't happen and I never received a follow-up to my message. At that point, I (wrongly or rightly) didn't feel we could rely on the hosts for assistance. The place was an absolute sauna each time we returned. To be fair, it was very hot overall across the region. Nonetheless, the R/C unit fails to adequately cool down the property, especially the bedrooms located further away. The output was quite poor and we unfortunately didn't sleep very well. Not enough toilet rolls for 4 women for 4 nights. Wallinga strikes me as being a promising place that could be very lovely for many, but it personally fell short of the mark for us.

Fantastic location, surrounded by nature. A great spot for escaping the city in favor of space, sounds of nature, stars, red sunset sky and tranquility. The cottage is well designed and comfortable. We definitely recommend this place!!

We liked the place. There was nothing to dislike. A few suggestions: * The door of the bathroom opens by itself. It doesn't remain closed. This should be fixed. * The kitchen could benefit from a salad bowl and espresso cups (the available coffee mugs are too big for the (excellent!) coffee machine)

The owners were incredible. One of them was over seas on holidays and still took the time to email me and make sure everything was alright. Absolutely beautiful spot. Great spot to unwind and even had a real coffee coffee machine with real coffee. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend going to these very well equipped cabins. They are beautiful

The cabin was lovely and the farm tour was excellent! It's also only a short drive to Mudgee.

We were very impressed by our experience. Location was perfect. relaxing view, isolated feeling but still close enough to the town. It was clean, stylish room with good facilities. had everything needed for a short stay. We would highly recommend this location❤️

Great location and really nice family running the farm.

Loved waking up on a farm surrounded by sheep and a llama. Facilities were great. Fire pit would have been great if it wasn't raining. Views were great and loads of privacy. Would highly recommend
