"A gorgeous, authentic apartment in the heart of Alfama"

The apartment was just gorgeous, well kitted out and stylish. The location in Alfama was perfect. We had fantastic communication before and during check in and the owner was kind enough to give us a late check out

If you are sensitive to noise this apartment isn’t for you! It didn’t bother us as wanted to be in the ‘heart’ of Alfama. We were locked out of the apartment one night as the door lock was jammed and we couldn’t get hold of the owner. After 30 mins of trying we finally got in but I would have hated to think of where we would have gone if we were locked out with no response!

"Disappointing."

It was definitely ‘charming’. Location in Alfama was good. Sony checked us in and she was very nice.

The mattress was old and worn and there was no protective cover on the pad. The shower curtain needed replacing. It was very noisy, due to late night activity in the area. No view at all. We had good communication with the manager until we mentioned the issues. He did offer to remedy the shower curtain and add a mattress pad. But he was quite defensive and made us feel like our concerns were not really valid.We actually left a day early in order to get a decent night’s sleep.

Cosy apartment in great location in the heart of old town. Good, autenthic restaurant beside the apartment. Shops 2 minutes walk from apt. Apartment well equipt.

Very tall person might have a problem stand straight in some parts of apartment.
