Casa Miratejo - Downtown

This is an attractive, updated apartment in an historic old building. The views are remarkable.

Just know that it is on the top floor of a five story walkup building. This will or will not be a problem, based on your fitness and energy.

The view from the apartment is simply fantastic, day and night! It is so beautiful that almost any other aspect of the otherwise very nice apartment feels secondary. The host was friendly and very easy to reach and coordinate the arrival with, the apartment was clean and well equipped, the location is perfect for visiting Lisbon on foot. I absolutely loved having my coffee on the little balcony with its superb view of the Tagus. Highly recommended!

This was not a problem for my group, and it is nothing the host can change, but the apartment is located on the 3rd (or 4th? not sure anymore...) floor in a building without an elevator. The apartments have high ceilings, which means that each floor requires a non-trivial amount of stair climbing. For groups that include persons with reduced mobility, this can be challenging. Another minor issue: there was some small amount of water damage on the living room ceiling. Given how upscale everything else in the apartment was, this felt a bit odd. However, given that this was right next to the balcony with the insanely cool view, I think I spend less than 5 seconds looking at the ceiling during our entire stay :--)).

This place was just fantastic! The atmosphere, location, comfort, cleanliness and, of course, the view :)! A beautiful historic building. And on top of all this, smiling and helpful António. If only we could stay longer.. Obrigado, caro António! :)
