Little duplex in Alfama

Location is good, house is cozy. The bed was good also. Clean place.

The dimensions are a bit hobbit-like, but you have to respect and appreciate that you stay in such a special place.

Location was perfect and the host was very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed.

Bottom floor was very cold (December) compared to the top floor there the AC is located. There was no heating at the bottom floor, so it wasn't a pleasant experience. Very hard to work in the kitchen and the knives were not sharp at all. You don't feel like using the kitchen because of this. The lightning was generally not cozy at all in the evening. Very cold white and bright light. For the price we were a little disappointed that we didn't book a hotel in stead.

Perfect location to experience ‘old’ Lisbon.

What a great location in Alfama, easy to find and quiet, despite being really close to the action. Ema is an amazing host, from prior to arrival she went out of her way to ensure we knew how to get there, and provided recommendations. Before we left she even offered to book us a taxi as we had such an early flight. We came via train from Porto and it was a five minute walk from Santa Apolonia. And flying out the airport is only 20 mins away in an Uber. The apartment is compact, but I think that is reflected in the price. It was clean, well appointed, and perfect for our needs. Lisbon is a great city, I can't wait to return and I'd certainly stay again the same place.

The location was great. The apartment was a nice size and had a comfortable bed.

The apartment is in a great location in the old part of the city. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and traditional. The host was very helpful, even when we made a mistake on our check out time (entirely our fault) and she was very understanding and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!
