The location is great.

It needs a full renovation. The apartment is quite old, with cracks on the walls and super steep stairs. You can hear both neighbours, the ones below and the ones above. In my case I did not have an issue with that because it was quiet at night. The bed shown in the picture is not the same. You have to climb Everest to get into it, definitely not an apartment for someone with mobility issues. The sofa is not a place where you sit if you plan to stand up, it just sucks you in (uncomfortably so). All that was passable because I got the apartment at half price thanks to some vouchers I had. For the normal price it is not recommended, you can definitely find something much better for the same price or cheaper. My surprise came after the check-out when I received a message from the owner asked if I could “donate” money for the cleaning because my dogs left hairs. If you had said in the booking description that bringing dogs had an extra cleaning fee I would have paid, but I am definitely not paying when it is requested afterwards.And I definitely will not donate money to someone that has a spare apartment they are booking it night by night at over a 100€....

Les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité. La décoration n’a rien de romantique. Une chaise cassée, planche des toilettes cassée, grosse éclaboussure jamais nettoyée de je ne sais quoi à côté du lit (genre café), …. L’hôte ne parle pas anglais (internationaux, fuyez…). Une chambre ne disposait pas de draps. Il n’y a aucun espace de rangement pour les vêtements (on a mis les nôtres dans un frigo non fonctionnel). La porte de la salle de bain qui ne se ferme pas (même pas de poignée).

It is a lowely charming place. You get even a washing machine and a dryer. The locality is not in the epicetre of Lisbon, but as oposed to it, is quiet at night. And then the host is great. If you don’t have something, just write him and he will take care of it.

Central location for what I needed. Decent size apartment. Traditional features, not overly modern. The host ensured I was comfortable on arrival; Google translate was required due to language barrier but it worked! I received good morning messages and check-ins that all was OK, which was sweet. The apartment stayed cool in high heat and the bed was comfortable.

I stress that the things listed here are personal preferences and didn't prevent me from having a good stay. There are finishing touches around the apartment that would make it more aesthetically pleasing, such as crack filling, ensuring all bulbs work, and a fresh coat of paint here and there would brighten it up. The promo photos for the living room should be updated as the layout has changed. There is a narrow and steep stairwell up to the apartment, so would be an issue for those with poor mobility. The host helped me up with my case..

The apartment had a charming and romantic atmosphere, perfect for a cozy stay in Lisbon. The location was excellent — close to the metro, a park, and the El Corte Inglés shopping center, making it very convenient for walks and shopping. The area was quiet, allowing for a restful break from city noise. The apartment felt very homely, reminiscent of childhood visits to grandparents, filled with warmth and comfort. The host was attentive and ensured everything was in place for a comfortable stay.

it was not very clean, the TV and wifi was not working
