Charming One Bedroom Flat

The kitchen and bathroom were well equiped. Charmingly arranged living room. The (co-) host send us recommendations for our stay in Lisbon.

The flat was very cold, damp and had moldy walls and even moldy bed sheets! There is no central heating, so my friend an I were freezing, even in the beginning of May. Eventhough the messages from the (co-) host seemed kind on the surface, I got the feeling, she was very aware of the bad condition of flat. The flat lays halfway in the basement, so when you look outside the windows, you can see the feet of people walking by. There is a garbage collection point across the opposite site of the street. The trash gets collected during the night, which you can wake up by the noise, if you aren‘t a heavy sleeper. The flat wasn‘t a good value for the money we payed! I can’t recommed booking the flat, especially because of the humidity and the mold!

The apartments are close to the metro, so it's easy to get anywhere. 25 minutes on foot to Commerce Square. The apartments are very clean. The main thing is that there are absolutely all the little things for everyday life. Washing powder, dishwasher capsules, coffee machine capsules, umbrella. Even books and board games. The host is attentive and friendly. Has its own guide to Lisbon attractions, cafes and shops. Any questions have solved in a few minutes in the messenger. The apartments are made with love :) Highly recommend!

The apartment is in an old building, so it may be cool there (but there is a heater) and the soundproofing is not perfect. But we slept without problems! The pizzeria noise problems described in other reviews are a bit exaggerated.

The location is perfect as metro stations are nearby and also plenty of restaurants. The host was very helpful

My experience was great because Daniela is such a wonderful person and I felt welcomed. The apartament is nice. I slept very well in the bed. Being in the underground is a bit annoying because doesn't have enough cool air. However, there is a terrace. Overall I liked the apartament, the area and I enjoyed my trip to Lisbon. Thanks again Daniela for your kindness!

The pizza smell from the neighbours.

The apartment was nice and comfortable, with all the things you may beed for your stay. Clean and the host friendly and responsive.

The only issue was the noise from the street. The apartment is at the lower floor of the building and the high windows are facing directly the street. Therefore, you will be waken up by the trash collectors almost every night (in the middle of the night), plus people passing by and the building door closing. Okay if you are an heavy sleeper :)

Host met on site for keys and was great welcome to lisbon with recommendations. Flat itself is very nice, good facilities, comfortable bed, hot shower, helpful has washing machine, cleaning stuff provided. Location good to get around Lisbon as near metro stations and off main route in to walk. Close to shops and restaurants.

Flat was sub ground floor, above a bar/restaurant. Music from about 6pm until 11pm, louder on a couple of nights when live singers played, also with general chat and then workers clearing up until after 12am. Disappointed about this and about the fact balcony is level with a side street bridge so couldn't sit out as people walking past directly next to it. Entrance to bar directly under balcony so opened up was noisy at night. Opposite the bar below there were homeless people sleeping but we didn't feel unsafe, the bar was more of an issue. We ended up staying out later so the noise in the evening won't be an issue if you are out for the night.

The host was superb, very welcoming offered us suggestions of the city and the apartment was perfect for 2 of us for an entire weekend. We mainly walked everywhere but there are metro stations very close, as well as different restaurants walking distant also.

We didn’t really had an issue about this, but we can expect some people to dislike the fact that it is located above a pizzeria which is quite vibrant and plays music till late hours.
