Alfama Secret

Great accommodation! If you want to experience the lively side of Lisbon, this is definitely the place for you! Located in the heart of the old town, with plenty of places to eat nearby, plus a stop for the famous tram 28 just around the corner. Daytime strolls through the charming old streets and evening hangouts in the same areas really let you soak in the city’s vibe. The apartment itself is excellent – clean and tidy. The hosts are wonderful people and provided very detailed check-in instructions.

It’s noisy at night, but I don’t think the accommodation is to blame — it’s just a lively neighborhood. The inner courtyard is a bit neglected; improving that would really take the place to another level. It was missing mosquito screens on the windows, which would have helped. Since the apartment is a bit damp, we wanted to air it out, but had to limit ventilation because of the insects.

Good place in Alfama, everything was great.

Great location, was able to work remotely in the WiFi, plenty of space and clean! Hosts were quick to reply when I had a question. Private entry point and nice covered outside area as well.

The moths are a bit in your face when coming and going. There’s also a personal security camera pointed at the door to the street and entry to the flat.

It is a modern furnished appartment, well equiped.

It is a cold place (even if we had a heather). The garden outside is not a pleasant view, it is not well maintained. But, the worst thing was the cockroaches, coming from that garden. I found about 4, including in the kitchen. It was very unpleasant.

Excellent apartment. Very clean and comfortable with every thing you need for a nice stay in Lisbon. The location is very good and within walking distance of lots of attractions. It is in walking distance to the metro, buses and trams (no. 28) Check in is excellent and the hosts are very nice and easy to get hold of. We would love to stay here again.
