This flat is a gem for staying in the old town. It has such a good location and a very nice view. Surrounded with nice restaurants and very close to the cathedral. It was comfy and a nice stay. Also thanks for the small gifts. If we come again we would like to stay here.

The apartment is in a fantastic area of Lisbon in the Alfama district which is charming and beautiful. We had stunning views of the Lisbon skyline and the river Tagus from the apartments balconies. Truly amazing watching the sunsets and the various cruise ships arrive in the port. The apartment itself was as its name suggests and spot on. It’s a good size, we are a family of four with two teenagers and we had adequate enough room for all of us. Rui was an attentive host with nothing be too much trouble, he was on hand to meet us and give us directions to the apartment and offer us assistance when our two kids got sunburn. We couldn’t have hoped for a more lovely host. Thanks Rui for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment in the fantastic Alfama district. We will be back 🙂

Nothing. Everything was absolutely perfect. The only thing I would be aware of when booking is that Adama district where the property is located is in the old quarter is Lisbon, which is particularly steep to walk, Taxis will enable you to get further up into Alfama but Ubers are not allowed. Be prepared to do a lot of walking.

Amazing location right in the middle of Alfama and next to a beautiful church. The apartment was small but worked ok for 3 adults. Communication was really good, and the views are incredible!

We had no problems! The building is quite old so you can hear every footstep upstairs, and there is no aircon (just something to be aware of).

Rui the host was exceptionally helpful and friendly, cheerfully accommodating a change in our check-in time and giving us tremendous advice, including information about the best street market I've ever visited (about 5 min from the apartment). Facilities were perfect, location was perfect, and there was a good coffee maker that actually worked (with coffee)! We ate at several excellent nearby restaurants, and it was an easy walk to other areas in Lisbon that we wanted to visit.

We were welcomed by the owner of the apartment, who was very friendly. He gave us useful tips for seeing Lisbon. The apartment is nicely furnished and clean. Wonderful view of the sea and old town.

I would not recommend the apartment to families with small children, in case of using a stroller. There are quite a few steep steps to the apartment.
