Great location, friendly host.

Location. Very convenient with few minutes walk to the tourist area. But the property is on the side road this it is quiet too. Further, if you walk opposite side, few minutes to the high end shopping districts.

The apartment is lovely furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The address is a little difficult to find so make good communication on your arrival. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They welcomed my arrival with having fresh oranges from their own garden. When I got scared by the noises the first night they brought me an extra key for locking the door. They live next door so contact is easy.

Depending on which days of the week you stay, the evenings get noisy as there are restaurants and bars close by and the walls are thin. Sensitive people like me should bring earplugs.

Madalena was extremely kind and helpful with both check-in and check-out, as well as quickly responsive to queries we had. She elevated our experience by providing fresh oranges for OJ, tea and coffee, and helpful recommendations for where to eat. The property was perfectly located and was spacious, clean, and beautiful.
