Motovun Bellevue - amazing view, comfortable

Cozy, clean and well equipped appartment. Really nice hosts. Stayed here for a week as a group of 5 to go climbing in Istria. The location is good if you want to explore many different areas. Most of the climbing areas (f.e. Limski Kanal, Buzetski Kanjon, Kamena Vrata) were reachable within 15-40 minutes by car. Livade has two real good restaurants which can also be reached by a footpath down the hill from the appartement.

This apartment exceeded all my expectations. Everything is brand new, very well equipped, you have all the necessities you could wish for. Best of all are the owners, who welcomed us very nicely. I highly recommend it to everyone.

This place is just simply fantastic. We've stayed in dozens of rental apartments and houses over the years and this one definitely ranks among the very best. The apartment was clean, completely well equipped, and extremely comfortable. The bedroom is equipped with black-out curtains. It's a large apartment, even without the 2nd bedroom/bathroom, which we didn't use. Everything is modern and functional. The hospitality of Sandi, his parents Sylvie & Bruno, and his sister-in-law Maja was exceptional. Truffle hunting with the 3 dogs, the wine, honey, and cheese were unexpected but much valued. I can't say enough about how welcome we felt. It's worth noting that Motovun Bellevue apartment is in a beautiful rural location (with amazing views!) a couple of kms from the village of Livade, and then another few kms from the hill town of Motovun. A car is pretty much essential. Also, with your own transportation you'll be able to easily visit half a dozen other hill towns within a half-hour drive, as well as wineries, etc etc.

I can't think of anything at all that we didn't like.

The apartment was very comfortable and all furnishings and linens were picked out with comfort in mind. We had all that we needed and more for a relaxing long weekend stay. Sandi was a fantastic host and even took the time to show my kids truffle hunting in the forest. He kindly showed us what he had found during his forages which was so interesting! The view, the apartment, and the host were all amazing.
