Old City Square Apartment

Perfect location, you can see the most famous city mark (The bridge) from your window. We forgot some of our clothes in the wardrobe and the owner send them to us via courrier, much appreciated!

The apartment is spacious, location is excellent and the view is great.

Very dirty! Only 1 bathroom is available (located at the one of the bedrooms ), the announced second one is not working. Spider webs on the walls. Beds are totally uncomfortable. A new kitchen sponge is not so expensive, but shows some respect to the guest. It's a pity that such an apartment is not well maintained.

Great location near city center. The apartment has all necessary items in the kitchen and a large living room,perfect for the evenings with frineds. Parking not available but easy to find near the building ( free of charge)

Extremely spacious and stylish apartment. Perfect location. We had the feeling we were in Venice - windows overlooking the full-flowing river (actually, physically over the water). Situated in the quiet old town center, amongst restaurants. The new city center 300 m away, the famous covered bridge only 100 m away. In the old Varosha neighborhood.

One of the two advertised bathrooms was closed because of defect and repairs (as explained). The only working bathroom was only reachable through one of the bedrooms.

Spacious apartment with big rooms, nice view over the river and the covered bridge, well equipped kitchen.

The biggest problem in this property is the bed in the master bedroom. Sleep is practically impossible as the mattress is completely worn off, very saggy and it sinks far below the edge of the bed once one sits on the mattress. It forms the bottom of a boat, therefore we were deprived of sleep. There exists a desperate need for replacement of the mattress. When looking back at past reviews of the property it is turning out that the extremely uncomfortable mattress has been in this state at least since 2022. The owner has not addressed the issue. Another issue that has been around for the last two years is the non working (or locked on purpose to avoid cleaning) bathroom in the master's suite. Every single time, every guest gets notified on the day of check-in of the non working, broken main bathroom and advised to use the small bathroom, accompanied by an apology for the inconvenience. Again, looking at the reviews from the recent years, the master bathroom has always been out of order. Another drawback is the constant significant smell of different cooked foods, coming from the restaurant downstairs. That same restaurant is a source of loud music until the wee hours of the morning on Fridays and Saturdays. Parking can be quite problematic. There are only a few parking spaces in proximity of the building. It is a roulette game to be lucky to hit one of them unoccupied. It is even impossible to find a spot where to park just for 5 minutes to unload your luggage from the car. We were unable to find a space to park close to the apartment. Instead we had to go to a paid parking at 15 minutes walking distance and to carry luggage bags by hand, taking breaks.
