We were in the area to attend a very special Wedding to be held in Southampton.This property was in a very convenient , quiet and pleasant location which suited us perfectly. We happened to arrive early but we were met by the very welcoming and helpful Owner who allowed us to access the property just under an hour early.

Friendly and swift responses by host regarding check in and check out. Complimentary provisions of tea, coffee, milk , biscuits and crisps on arrival. Thoughtful touches in the accommodation eg take away menus of good local eateries, electric heater, heated towel rack and toiletries - somewhat eclectic collection possibly from host’s own travels! Located near my friend whom I was visiting. Several good eateries within walking distance.

No sink in pantry and washing up done in plastic basin in bathroom. A dustpan and brush set and antiseptic cleaning wipes would have enabled us to keep floors and surfaces clean. Small repairs to affix bits onto appliances might prevent small jolts of fear to guests wondering how things fell off and the answer is lack of adhesive. This is a charming place but needs a car to truly be well placed.

Was lovely and clean, very cosy and the shower was excellent.

It was a little bit cold and there wasn't a drinking tap.

Lack of dish washing facility

Very well equipped apartment with charming design, Nespresso coffee machine with pods provided (and also fresh milk in the fridge!), feel like home, great host, very quite location.

A bit dark and cold as located in a basement, but this might be rather advantage during summer
