Shan Mu Inn Deluxe Hot-tub seaview apartment

The location was absolutely picture perfect. The size of the property was outstanding lots of room.

It was incredible difficult to locate, no signs and directions old, nirvana health club no longer there? Also lack of toiletries in bathrooms

location was beautiful. Apartment was comfortable and spacious. Has a Electric car charging point which was a added bonus we were not expecting but super helpful.

owner had to whatsapp us how to find the cutlery and how to work the hot tub. this information being in the welcome pack would have been helpful.

Sat Nav using postcode does not get you to the property, when in reality locating it is very easy.

It was clean, private, great view of the sea and the inside of the property was beautiful

Beautiful location, however the trees obscure most of the potential view and what an incredible view it could be with St Michael's mount in the distance. I would imagine once the trees have their full leaves the view would be even more obscured which is a shame. I believe other guests have made the same comments. On arrival the place was decorated with a Christmas tree and was presented with a bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates which was an absolute delight and appreciated after a long drive!. Took plenty advantage of the indoor whirlpool bath [not a hot tub] which was a real treat after long cold walks. Wonderful large fluffy towels. It was a perfect stay for a peaceful Christmas. This is an amazing property but needs a few simple touches and changes which would make it out of this world. Lindsey was very attentive when called about the lack of heating and no internet, which was resolved in a prompt manner. Again this place has all the potential to be taken to the next level but fine tuning is needed to be classed as " DELUXE" and create the "WOW" factor. As a hotelier, I would be more than happy to speak with the owners personally about their fantastic property and maximising its potential.

The property is nicely decorated but lacks a lot of attention to fine detail. Both bedrooms only had one bedside lamp and both rooms had provisions to have a wall mounted TV, but only one TV in the lounge. The main bedroom had no outside window so couldn't get any fresh air in the bedroom, which is off the main lounge. [not sure if this meets building regs or health & safety standards] The en-suite has a clear glass door facing the WC, so you could be seen by anyone in the next room, this can be easy fixed with frosted glass film, which again has been mentioned before. The kitchen is a great size with plenty of storage, however there is very little in terms of kitchen equipment. Only 3 decent saucepans but not one big enough to boil pasta. No frying pans and only one large roasting dish which we found to be caked in grease. The cooking utensils were a mish mash of odds and ends, rather than any essentials. In the kitchen drawers and cupboards we found random empty bottles, empty boxes and 3 rolling pins! The place was just surface cleaned with cobwebs seen in the shower and skylight. The plants were wilted, so we dead-headed the plants and gave them a good water. The step down to the lounge area is to small we both cut our ankles walking down it due to the woden overhang again this could be easily rectified. Salt & Pepper pots were empty and no coffee pods offered for the nespresso machine. Silly but annoying little things.
