Good location, close to metro. Building was quiet, and everything in the apartment appeared to be in good working order. There were several grocery shops located nearby, and are seemed safe enough at night.

Access to Wifi was a bit confusing, could be made clearer (perhaps send instructions via email prior to arrival?).

The beds are comfortable which is a plus - but don't try and sleep in (right now at least!) There are multiple construction projects within the building. The location is incredible, and that is the best thing this flat has going for it. A little bit of love could make this an incredible stay in Madrid.

This property is in need of an update. The place had a foul musty smell despite cleaning immediately prior to (during) check in. There are multiple units in the building receiving the professional updates this place so desperately needs! The sink counter is cracked in one bathroom and the wood trim is damaged in the bathrooms and falling off the walls in multiple places. We also did not have hot water during our stay but we are there only 2 nights and did not have a chance to request assistance to this end.

The location downtown was great, nearby metro stations and bus stops. Retiro park and many grocery stores near by. The apartment was impecable, big kitchen, comfortable beds and rooms, bathrooms were clean. Great elevator service! Good communication from the host and clear instructions.

Room for improvement could be power outlet fix on the side of the bed.

The check in and check out process were smooth. The apartment was fully equipped and close to the city center.

Communication in English was lacking but we used Google translate to make it work
