The location (everything within walking distance - the seafront, the ferry to the islands, the fabulous markets, restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets...), the spacious rooms, the terraces and balconies with great views towards the lagoons and sea, inland to the hills and over the town rooftops. The church close by had stork nests and the swifts had arrived.

It was a bit chilly in the apartment but there was extra bedding and some electric heaters.

Fantastic Location, Balconies and very charming interior . Plus a host you can wish for - brillant!

The apartment is very spacious and immaculate

The apartment is incredibly spacious with lovely decor and comfortable furnishings. It had numerous options for outside space too with balconies, a sun terrace with an awning and a rooftop sunbathing area. The location is ideal for exploring Olhao, and central while not being noisy. It is right beside a great lunchtime(only) fish restaurant popular with locals and tourists alike. There is some parking nearby though Olhao's old narrow streets are challenging but we had no problem with this as parked on the wider side streets near the supermarket ( 5-10 mins walk away). Air conditioning units worked well, beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the two bathrooms. The fishing port, as well as the waterfront area with its numerous cafes and restaurants, the boat marina and Olhao's fish&vegetable market were easily walkable to too. We also visited Olhao's Grelha salt pans in the nature reserve and did their dead sea experience. We had a lovely stay and hope to return, and the host was very welcoming and on hand (if needed) for any questions.

Be aware the apartment is beside two churches so you will hear the church bells. The positive from that is you also have an amazing view of the stork nests in the church tower from the terrace, fascinating to watch. A wee tip, use the shutters so your light does not shine out at night if nipping to the bathroom as this wakens a very friendly dog in the apartments opposite who barks a lot when he senses people are up and about at night. Our only and a small negative was we were only given one bath & one hand towel each for a week long stay. We solved this by using the apartment's washing machine to wash these mid week but to be honest this felt a bit frugal given the rental price and when everything else was so luxurious. Everything else was lovely though.

Perfect location, apartment was massive and had absolutely everything.
