Sunshine apartment by Ammonite&Cо

Lilya is an excellent host responding very promptly to any queries we had. Check in and check out were seamless. The apartment is exceptional. It is spacious, fully equipped, and immaculately presented. The two bedrooms have comfy beds, lots of storage space and both open on to the large wrap around outside area (which on the hottest days meant we could catch the sun or the shade). We liked the location very much, the surrounding historic buildings are under renovation and the short walk to the ferry and markets take in the excellent street murals, modern sculptures and industrial architecture that tell the story of this important fishing town. The apartment block itself is in a very quiet part of town but just a short walk (past nesting storks) to a well equipped supermarket, and a few steps from Christys - a fabulous bakery/patisserie which we visited daily! We really had a magical week here and will return.

Nothing to dislike.

A lovely spacious appartment. Very well equipped and lovely and clean. A lively terrace with a fabulous bbq. A great location between the seafront and old town. Great contact from the host and would definately recommend the place.

Liliya was very accommodating letting us leave our luggage in the property earlier than check in time. Access was very straight forward with the key available in the lock box outside the apartment. A lovely surprise to find a complimentary bottle of water and wine. Kitchen was excellent and the rest of the apartment was great too including a lovely balcony with loungers, bbq and seating area. Very close to the supermarket for all your daily needs and very close to the main strip, market and ferry to the islands. Fabulous restaurants close by and train station within 10 minutes walking distance.

Nothing although instructions on how to use the tv would have been helpful 😂 took us 3 days to work out which of the 4 remotes were the right ones - although that probably says more about me!

The property was absolutely beautiful. It is exactly like advertised in the pictures. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Liliya was so accommodating and helpful. The apartment is fully kitted with everything you could possibly need. We have truly loved our stay.

Lovely apartment with lots of space and good value for money. Nice to have a dedicated space for our car as well. The staff are really helpful aswell and gave detailed instructions.

The front door was quite stiff to get in and needs some force.

Amazing Apartment , very clean. Everything you could want in the kitchen. Great location just a few minutes walk to Supermarket and Restaurants. Outside space was perfect

The pictures in the advertisement were what we really liked. What we found was something else…

Behind the nice pictures of the nice looking, well-decorated apartment, there’s an absolute stack of filth in every corner. My kids feet were black after 20 minutes walking in this apartment. Mattresses full of other people’s hair and dust. Urine on one of the mattresses. Ants, dog poop on the side of the bed (since they take pets and don’t clean properly.) The refrigerator sounds like a train at night, and the AC units are noisy as well. It was very hard to shower the kids since the water is em either boiling hot or cold. The block itself is located by a supermarket and close to restaurants. But it is a residential build resembling social housing. The pool never had anyone because many tiles are missing on the ground. Property owner should update the pictures to show reality. In the hallways of this building you will run into other apartments’s brooms, mops, clothing racks, dirty shoes and socks, and all sorts of clutter.

The apartment was a modern nicely decorated two bedroom option and we choose this option to work from the lounge and kitchen. Wifi was good but did drop off a few times (but that was due to regional wifi). We were closeby to the town/restaurants/shops. Was also a consideration being dog friendly. A great apartment if you want to stay a short time in Olhoa.

Unfortunately, it is located right opposite a working building site that was noisy while we were working from the apartment. We decided to leave the apartment earlier than we had paid for. One thing I mentioned to the host who was very attentive to our requests, it would be nice to have at least a few tabs supplied for the dishwasher/washing machine. Paying for these facilities, all apartments I have visited overseas always include at least a few tabs for white goods appliances. Nobody wants to buy a big supermarket pack. Attention to detail could be improved.
