It really is what it states, a budget stay. If you need somewhere to stay for one night, this is perfect. It has everything you need.

The faucet in the bathroom was a bit loose.

Great room close to the road but still quiet. Nice size with everything you need. A table with chair. Water heater with a cup. There are two pots so you can heat up something. Did not find a plate, but cutlery and knifes. I like this little place. It is almost at the center of town. There is a bakery and a fast food kiosk over the street. Lots of shopping close. If I go again - I hope I can stay at this place again!

The self check-in was great. The instructions were very clear. I only booked a few hours before arriving at the Osijek bus station at 11 PM, and this was the only apartment with self check-in available at the time. So easy! The location was also great -- just minutes from the center of Osijek. The apartment was clean.

The whole room is very "spartan" in the sense that whoever refurbished the room did the absolute bare minimum. It felt like I was sleeping in the military barracks. 1. The bed only had a single sheet for me to cover myself with only one single pillow that was flat. I would have enjoyed another pillow to at least prop myself up in bed a little bit, especially since the bed itself was rather uncomfortable. 2. The bathroom was clean, but I was frustrated by the shower. The shower is not separated from the wet room bathroom. The shower has a small, rectangular drain on one side despite the fact that the shower is not graded downwards. I was concerned about flooding the bathroom both times I took a shower. There is no second drain in the middle of the bathroom. 3. A hook in the bathroom for a towel is needed. 4. The single towel that I was given was tiny and so rough (like sandpaper). 5. The whole room is drab and devoid of any character. I am a budget traveler and do not have any high expectations. However, it was kind of sad. I think even 15€ of thirft store decorations here could make a difference to make it not feel like the military barracks. 6. Finally, the room was hot. However, I realize that I was there on one of the hottest days of the year which nobody can do anything about. No air conditioning was promised in the description; I just wrongfully assumed. There was a small fan in the room although it was incredibly loud. Since the single window is small, the problem is that the room was still significantly warmer than outside. This is not a complaint, but I want others to be aware if coming here in the summer. All in all, my stay was not great, but not terrible. Although I would not have had my own room, I would have rather stayed in a hostel at this price point. I have stayed in lots of hostels, and none of them have been as spartan as this apartment. For one night this apartment would have been okay, but two nights here is really pushing it.
