Luxury apartment with free parking

Nous avons contacté le propriétaire car le grille-pain a fait sauté les plombs de tout l'appart, à notre arrivée.. pas gai ! . Son technicien est arrivé. Il suffisait de les soulever le bouton général au rez dans le coffret électrique blanc situé au-dessus des boites aux lettres. nos avons pu rester plus longtemps dans le gîte pour compenser ce temps perdu à attendre le technicien. Merci pour ce geste !

De foto’s liegen niet; het is inderdaad een ruim en aangenaam appartement. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig zoals (keuken)handdoeken, enkele nespresso cups, handzeep, haardroger,… Aangenaam verrast want dat is niet altijd allemaal aanwezig in een appartement. De ligging is bovendien ook top!

Er is niets dat ons niet beviel. Het liftje is wat aan de kleinere kant, maar niet onoverkomelijk. We hebben ‘s nachts wel een beetje last gehad van lawaai in de andere appartementen, maar dat komt natuurlijk wel vaker voor in appartementsblokken.

The double bunk beds should be in the other room so there is more room in the bedroom

Location and value for money

The bedding can be cleaner, communication can be faster, the lift was problematic due to safety precautions.

The apartment is so close to the beach, to restaurants and shops. It is spacious and well-equipped. We had a wonderful time.

Location! Direct line/ street to the beach / in sight from the balcony. Convenient for a family with small kids. It has everything you need for a short stay.

Some improvement points: - details about house rules (where and how to drop the garbage at the end was not clear and the host did not pick up the phone when we called for details; we carried the garbage of 4 days with us in the car till the largest gas station on the highway where we could drop it in a large container); - the parking spot in the garage in a location nearby is very small, tide and narrow, no family car could fit without a risk of damage. We came with 2 cars, non of them could be parked in that garage. We had to park in a public paid garage and on the street (9-20.00 paid parking) . Sometimes challenging to find a spot in the evening so we drove on the streets near by. - the TV is challenging to get it to on HDMI 2 and besides French speaking channels it’s hard to find something else. Minor point as we did not really miss watching tv. - there is no dishwasher so we had to wash by hand our dishes. It takes some time and when a break would be nice not to need to do it - there is no very good speed ventilation in the bathroom and that creates humidity and a less nice smell. - the bedrooms have windows to a wall, so no view at all - it’s an ok apartment, fits the purpose but would not classify it into a luxury category

Everything is brilliant. Equipment, flair, location, communication with the owners and just a short walk to the included parking. No "trick" pictures, they show everything as it really is. I like the little details, bright idea with the 50 Cents 😉
