Loft Arco de los Zapatos

The location was superb! The apartment was well stocked and also provided coffee pods for our use. A nice touch. Having underground parking was fantastic and really a basic necessity in Oviedo! The terrace was also nice and the use of a washer with cleaning pods also very much appreciated. The apartment also was well laid out and felt like a well decorated home not a hotel room.

Location was excellent.

Great facilities, everything you could want and more. The lady who met us was so great. We don’t speak Spanish and her English wasn’t good, but we still managed to understand each other. Free parking, yeah!

The lounge. Oh my goodness, the cushions kept sliding forward, I suspect it was some kind of recliner, but there was no way to stop it moving. The shower often went cold.

Great location in the heart of Oviedo.

Too cluttered with furniture and ornaments. Not much natural light.

Wonderful location in the Casco Viejo / Old town, with many places and a fabulous market within easy walk, and the plaza del Fontan on our doorstep. Lots of excellent places to eat within minutes. Our host Anabel was lovely, and the secure parking space within a few mins walk was great.

Comms could be better - much was made of messaging the hosts an hour ahead of arrival to facilitate key handover, but there was a door code and lockbox. We also received an auto prompt to check out a day early, which caused some confusion. The flat was quite crowded, there was no space for suitcases, it was not very clean (bathroom and bedroom mainly). Some lack of attention to detail also - examples; soap dispenser unfilled, an item of clothing from a previous visitor left behind, single bedside lamp and charging socket. Several areas needed repair also - shower head fell out of holder onto my partner, a loose towel rail, an unstable floating shelf over the bed (piece of art fell off onto my partner). Host was super lovely, the location was brilliant, but we wouldn’t stay here again.
