Callao Apartment

Nothing. It was uncomfortable. The towels were in the washer wet. I had no idea how to use the washer/dryer (it’s one machine that has the washer and dryer together). We had to go the next day to buy towels. No instructions how the TV worked. One side of the bed was against a wall. It was very hard to get on the bed. Very uncomfortable. The neighborhood was horrible a lot of strange people. We didn’t feel safe. I don’t recommend this apartment to anybody. It was so expensive for such a horrible and uncomfortable place.

Great location - so close to everything. It was a compact apartment with everything required for our stay.

The security doors (X3) for access were complicated and cumbersome. The sound as the apartment door electronically closed was very loud (I wondered how that noise carried to the neighbours) and felt like a prison. It sometimes took a few goes to work - giving a trapped feeling. The bedroom was very tight with only a double bed up against a wall on one side.

Great little apartment with all of the required facilities, located central to shopping, sights, palace and transportation.

Front main entrance door to the apartment building was challenging. Struggled to get the gate opened with key and engaging the automated opening system attached to the gate.

Apartment was cozy. In-unit laundry was the big selling point for us, though, we didn't find any detergent already there so we had to buy our own. Nice size living room TV. AC units in the bedroom and living room, both great. Great overhead shower. Amazing location in the city center. Less than a 3 min walk to Gran Via right out the door.

Didn't find any laundry detergent so we had to buy our own. No paper towels. Some of the dishes were dirty.

This studio is perfect for two persons, very well equiped, clean and the location is excellent, you don’t even need public transport, everything is so close by: landmarks, restaurants, parks, supermarkets. The owner was nice enough to let us check-in earlier, this is done remotely thus very easy. All basic condiments, coffee, tea, liquid soap were present which not all apartments would offer.

Excellent location in city centre. Beautyful apartment with all you need. Everything within easy walking distance, beautyful city.

Madrid - Chamartin railway station. Noisy building site at the moment.
