Padua was a huge success in our trip and largely due to Elena, the owner and her personal attention, meeting us, letting us leave our luggage earlier and the recommendations that she gave. The newly renovated apartment, in an old building, right in the heart of the old town, had everything we could hope for. We arrived by train and took the tram right in front of the station, for about 4 stops to Livio, meters from our destination - easy! The stairs are very nifty - just hang on! We will do it again.

The stairs are very steep. Not a problem for people with no mobility issues though.

The location was convenient.

The steps to the bed were very steep. We had to leave our suitcases in the kitchen/living room because the stairs were way too steep. I was a little scared to go down the stairs in the middle of the night.

Elena is a fantastic host!! Very responsive. The apartment is very well equiped, and tastefull decorated. Good location and very easy check in, we were happy to avoid the boxes with code we have had in other places as it is more difficult to use.
