Thank you, Margaret and Bob, for your company over the past three days. There was a comfortable sense of distance, yet also a warm closeness. You provided us with many helpful suggestions and a peaceful, restful sleeping environment. The outdoor spa was truly impressive. We thank the Lord as well—the passing showers made the weather feel perfectly balanced. Borrowing a line from a Chinese poem: “The sun shines in the east while rain falls in the west—though it seems not clear, it is full of feeling.”

A lovely apartment with stunning views across the bay. Bob and Margaret were wonderful hosts, providing us with lots of useful information. We enjoyed the fresh fruit which was left for us and the beers in the fridge. It was great to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day enjoying the beautiful views.

Bob & Margaret were exceptional hosts. The accommodation with great, clean and the fan above the bed great for the warm weather. It had a lovely spa with a gorgeous view! We have already booked to stay again.

Very helpful and friendly hosts. They provided lots of much appreciated extras such as coffee, milk, a fruit bowl, beer …. They offered us use of their hot tub and gave us lots of advice on where to go, where to eat etc. The house is about a 15 minute walk from the Paihia pier. We had no problem with this walk but there is a good hill from the waterfront to the house. Bob was very kind and offered to come and get us in town if we didn’t have energy for the walk. We really enjoyed our stay here and we highly recommend it!

Hosts were amazing! Has a hot tub, close to town. Good value.

Margaret and Bob are very nice and caring. The non-smoking paradise above the city on a hill is quiet and offers a beautiful view. Upon arrival we found milk, beer, fruit, water and a lot of information about the area. There is a microwave, a hotplate and even an air fryer as well as a French press with grinded coffee. Two bathrobes invite you to visit the hot tub.

The wifi could be a little better.
