5E Tower 2 Viceroy

The unit was at Viceroy level 5 Tower 2 at the heart of MC kinley Area , location was great. Studio type but nicely renovated. Perfect for couple celebrating special occasions. The unit is clean ,with kitchen utensils pan , rice cooker & Induction stove for cooking .it has Netflix as well.it has 2 bed as well. The place was cozy & nice . Unit owner allowed us to stay another 5 hrs extension for a fee of 600 which is pretty cool because I had appointment that day. Wasn't able to come back on time for check out.

No extra towel for our 7 days stay, we ask but to no avail & bedsheets no replacement available in the unit . Was only given 1 roll of bathroom tissue for a WK of stay ask but not given. Pls provide chopping board, dishwashing liquid, scotch Brite, extra towel & bedsheets like other Airbnb in the area. Third place I stayed in Venice so far.

Great location near Venice Grand Canal Mall, multiple stores and restaurants nearby. Nice pool on the 2nd floor. Good air-conditioning unit. Owner replied quickly when needed.

Poor air ventilation in the bathroom making it perfect condition for mildew and black mold. I ended up scrubbing down the shower myself since I have asthma. Electric outlet for water heater right next to the bathroom sink which easily gets wet causing short circuits.

The staff never came back to help us out if we needed something even we tried to contact them

Proximity to Venice Grand Canal where all the eateries are, walked 10 minutes to it. Lobby ok, grocery stores closeby, nail and hair salon next to lobby. The mat in between bed nice touch but slipping. Able to request things needed. They provided the mat on the shower floor to prevent slidding accident especially for seniors. The one and only rack is broken, fixed but can't hang anything heavy. .Stingy supply of toilet paper but supplied one at a time.

Cockroaches present in the kitchen and bathroom, they've said it's been cleaned and not to leave food out. We never had any meal inside the unit, more convenient to eat out. Suggested the following for their future renters: grab bars inside the shower for seniors/elderly, very high towel rack hard to reach by short people, bed by the wall (should be in the middle) to make it easier for the other person to get in and out. Did not supply hooks to hang needed to change clothes after shower requested to be hanged behind the door or wall. TV was not working for a few days and we stayed for 10 days but finally they fixed it. Very disappointed.

Location; responsiveness to my request/issues that arise.

-Intermittent noise fr neighboring floor not communicated. -Visited by couple of small roaches -Bathroom needs more cleaning - mold/mildew are visible in the shower walls. -Towels provided are worn out; 'tho smells clean, stains are visible. Time to replace. -Fr my last stay (5yrs ago), Unit now needs some up keep, ie repaint nicks on cabinet/closet handles, replace shade of lamp, etc. -Fix TV -Undersink cabinet smells

The unit was very nice. It was spacious and clean. I would definitely recommended this to others.
