Considering Mannar's non-tourist offer for foreign guests, we were forced to choose this local hotel. I booked two two-room apartments through booking and the owner offered an additional free room for our local guide and driver. When we arrived at the hotel, the owner's wife welcomed us and only had one apartment available... After a conversation, she did her best and got us two apartments... Possibility to choose a continental breakfast. The breakfast was delicious. What saddened me the most was that the bed linen was not clean (from previous guests). This is unacceptable, even if we only stayed one night. In both apartments, the bedding was used from previous guests... The beds are uncomfortable and too short. I'm 174 cm and I couldn't stretch my legs.

Read above. The hotel has potential and when they improve the cleanliness (especially the bedding) and the attitude towards foreign guests, the hotel will earn a higher rating from me. It is a good price for staying, but I would never stay in this hotel again.

Upon check-in, I was warmly greeted by the attentive and friendly staff. The check-in process was seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had upgraded my room without any extra charge. The receptionist also provided me with a map of the city and some excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably clean. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the plush bedding to the luxurious toiletries in the well-appointed bathroom. The view from my room was breathtaking, overlooking the city skyline and offering a mesmerizing view of the sunset each evening. The location of the hotel was also perfect for exploring the city. It was centrally located, within walking distance of several major attractions and public transportation options, making it convenient to get around.

Excellent new budget hotel, located a bit away from the city in the field. There are public areas with dining tables and a kitchen, as well as a living room. Clean rooms, hot water. Large parking lot in a closed area.

Wifi speed is a bit weak and unstable.

They do everything they can to clean.

We had so many ants in the room, this is beyond acceptable. We just stayed one night, otherwise we left the next day. The ants were also on the bed, which we found out in the morning.
