It's about a 20-minute train ride to the Barcelona city center, but only a 5-minute walk from the apartment to the train station in El Masnou. The commute is easy and convenient. The advantage of being in El Masnou is the beautiful view of the sea. Also, it's a lovely area in its own right. There are shops and parks, and walking up into the hills provided charming scenes and lovely vistas.

The kitchen could have been a little better equipped. It was do-able, but a good, a second, larger cutting board, and a bigger skillet would have been useful.
