"Beautiful property, wonderful host, great location"

Beautiful property that evokes the caves that are the draw to the area. The hostess is warm, responsive, and stocks the kitchen unusually well to welcome guests with coffee, milk, juices, snacks. Michaela brought focaccia with the keys-amazing! There is even a full-length mirror (one of my pet peeves)! Steps to some nice restaurants (try La Pignata, or La Cola Cola) and near everything you might want to see, including some great hikes. This is one of the nicest properties I've ever booked.

Minor--Upstairs could use a bedside light.

"Perfect stay"

Situation perfect, modern apartment, clean, comfortable. Michele is a wonderful host, great restaurant recommendations, and met us at the apartment to explain how everything worked. One of the best apartments we’ve stayed in.

"an oasis of calm"

The apartment was very cool and spacious plus the fridge was well stocked with cold drinks. Our hostess was very welcoming and very gracious. the Location is on the edge of the Sassi (old town) and the new city. The best of both worlds. An excellent base from which to explore Matera.
