La casa di Thomas in centro

Nice cozy room with plenty of space. Location is superb with private parking and only few steps away from all the main sights and the central square (Piazza Vittorio Venero), with a beautiful view over all of Matera and the Duomo.

Windows are facing the street with heavy traffic and the noise was very disturbing also trough the whole night. Breakfast is limited to yogurts and a lot of sweets. I visited near by grocery store (SpeSi) but there didn’t have any fresh bread.

I stayed here for one night and unfortunately did not have a good experience. The room was very noisy, with constant traffic and street noise throughout the night, making it difficult to rest. There was also a strong and excessive smell of fragrances and cleaning products, which seemed to be masking a damp or humid odor, making the stay uncomfortable. The only positive aspect is the availability of parking. However, for me, comfort and a good night’s sleep are essential, and this was not achieved.

Nous avons séjourné la nuit de samedi à dimanche et entre les bruits de la route et des fetards dans la rue, la nuit a été compliquée…

La casa è davvero in centro, 2 minuti a piedi e ci si trova ai Sassi. Inoltre ha un posto auto privato all'interno del cortile. In casa non manca niente e la colazione è ottima ed abbondante.
