A great apartment in the heart of Matera

The car park is far from the apartment The host didn’t check the room, bathroom light was broken. TV can’t watch. The bed was uncomfortable Shower room very small and no soap holder

The apartment is perfectly located, as it is in front of the entrance to Sassi di Matera - the old town. Alberto was assisting us on time and provided us with a safe and private parking place, so we didn't have to care for it on our own, as it could be time-consuming and costly (Matera is very popular and crowded these days). The bedrooms are cozy and spacious. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped.

The shower cabin could be a bit wider. A little more kitchen equipment would be useful cause not everyone chooses restaurants in the first place :)

Perfect location (supermarket nearby, easy to park, walking distance to matera historical sites) good value for money for one night (2 adultes and 3 kids)

Close to the old town. Very nice. Flat is large with lots of sun in it. Bed were comfy. Easy to get the keys. Very clean and esay to park the car nearby.

Need to go through a bedroom to go to the bathroom. Not possible to havec dark in the living room where my son was sleeping. Woke up early then.

strange things like a little desk with a lamp between the two beds… but there was neither plug for it nor a cable extension; or another lamp that did not enter in any plug; you had to cross the main bedroom to go to the bathroom (no hands soap)… But the main surprise came when we opened the beds and there were sheets in only one of the single beds. I told the landlord that we chose the apartment because there were 3 beds but he said that, according to Booking, 2 adults and one young boy means 1 double and 1 single bed. Never heard of. Plenty of pillows and blankets but no single sheet in the apartment. He even refused to provide the sheets for the second day since ‘the cleaning lady leaves outside Matera’. what about him? just a reminder to pay the city tax. la classe!
