Emplacement idéal : aux portes du centre historique et dans une rue facile d'accès. Appartement spacieux avec une vraie cuisine. Petit déjeuner suffisant laissé à disposition dans l'appartement. Bon accueil et échange facile avec le contact.

We loved our stay at Sul Teatro. It was immaculately clean with comfortable beds and is in a great location. Matera is a beautiful and fascinating city and we enjoyed a fantastic walking tour of the Sassi. The apartment's location is excellent for walking to the supermarket, restaurants and main square. The host was very kind and we were provided with breakfast items including coffee, tea, water, fruit juice and milk, croissants and toast items.

We stayed for four nights so we would have time to absorb the atmosphere of Matera. It would have been nice to have had an electric kettle rather than a kettle for the stove.

Very spacious & clean and location was perfect for walking to all of the local sites.

Would have liked a kettle and some tea towels.

We stayed in a spacious and immaculately clean two-bedroom apartment that offered both comfort and convenience. The location was excellent—just a short walk from the old town and all the main attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The master bedroom was impressively large, while the second bedroom, though more compact, comfortably fit two single beds and a wardrobe. Both the kitchen and bathroom were well-sized and in great condition, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the host’s exceptional hospitality. She was incredibly helpful and informative, taking the time to explain the local area and even assisting us by calling a tour organizer to book a walking tour of the old town. We were also pleasantly surprised by the generous selection of complimentary items provided, including coffee, tea, bottled water, bread, croissants, jam, and a fridge stocked with various juices and yogurt. Although the apartment was a bit cooler than expected due to the spring weather, the air conditioning worked well for heating and kept us perfectly comfortable. Overall, this apartment offered a great combination of space, location, and warm hospitality—highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The main bedroom was very large and the second smaller. The bathroom and kitchen were modern. The location was a 5 minute walk to the historic centre.

It was a little noisy at night as it’s on a main road. A washing machine would be beneficial for longer stays.
