"Could have went to better property for the same price"

Waterpark. But still needs to be maintained

We checked out within 3 hours of checking in . Due to the bad room conditions, smelly towel, bathroom light wasnโ€™t working, no amenities, air conditioning was not working, and the TV was not working. We addressed the issues to the owner, and we didnโ€™t get any fast actions except for a text stating that a technician will be sent. We checked out at 16/12/24 (5.19pm) with proof (picture taken) of waterpark access cards & keys placed in the appropriate place. And I left a review on booking.com on 20/12/2024. The owner messaged me privately on 21/12/2024 to withdraw the bad reviews and give good reviews, stating that their profile will be affected. The owner also offered compensation of RM43. Another message was sent by the owner on 22/12/2024 due to no response from our side. But when we didnโ€™t reply to any of his messages, the owner filed a fake complaint to booking.com stating that we lost their waterpark access cards and demanded RM200. We did not even go to the waterpark due to bad weather conditions. You can check this with the waterpark directly to see if they have any records of the waterpark cards being scanned. If we didn't actually return the cards, why didnโ€™t the owner message us directly when they were cleaning the property or complain to booking.com directly & immediately on 16-17/12/2024. Why wait until we submit our review to file a complaint stating we lost their cards? You can personally go and view back all the reviews from this property. Many have given their bad reviews. And the owner has been replying in similar patterns. Either by stating that the occupants have lost access cards, damaged any items from the property, or gave false untrue reviews. Requesting the occupants to give good reviews by compensation is a wrong action; they should learn from their bad reviews and improve the quality of their accommodation.

Parking easily available. Large room. Enough space. Good location. Nearby waterpark by foot. Nearby restaurant and attraction.

The room really need maintainence. The sofa was very old and table is broken. Can use but not really aesthetic. I try to use the iron but the adjuster broken and nearly burn my clothes.On my bed I even found a dinasour sticker. So not sure if they change the bed sheet or not โ˜น
