365 by D'Laksamana

Very near to jonker, but the facility is very old. No key for the front door which make it inconvenient as you need to call the owner if you accidentally lock the front door

Great location. Host is very responsive and suggested a lot of good restaurants around the hood. Private parking.

The fan is a bit noisy but other than that everything is good.

It's a bit difficult to review this place because we changed the room after the first night. First of all, the owner is very friendly, welcoming and will give you a lot of advice about the neighborhood. You'll get fresh fruit, tea/instant coffee and drinking water. The room booked featured a cupboard and was allegedly "spacious" at 27qm. We got a room that was about 9qm and only had a bed. We addressed this matter and got an upgrade to a much nicer place around the corner (D'Laksamana, not the 365) which was really nice. So the 365 would be a small room (an update of the photos and the correct amount of qm, please!) in a rather clean shared flat. Small balcony, couch and table are in the common area. We'd only recommend this for a short stay (7/10). The room in D'Laksamana was spacious, featuring a private bathroom, a cozy common area etc. We definitely recommend that room! (10/10). The location is convenient, both local food stalls and the City Center are only a short walk away.

Very good location, very good wifi, good beds. Owner reacted always very quickly and gave good advice. The price and quality of the room is good. We had a perfect stay and we should have stayed longer in Malakka.

Keen is extremely hospitable and very nice to talk to. He makes sure you have the best experience possible, he gave me lots of tips, a free upgrade, a bicycle to get around. The accommodation is very clean, quiet and comfortable and in a great location in Malacca. I can definitely recommend staying here when in Malacca and I would for sure stay here again.
