Great location and views. Lovely hosts who went out of their way to make the stay as great as possible. Views from the balcony are great. Kitchen has all one requires to prepare an excellent meal. Living room is well sized and sofa is comfortable. The equipment level in the flat is very good with all that was needed for the stay. Hosts are an amazing young family who were always on hand to help out and always approachable.

More attention to the cleaning would be nice as there was dust in places. Bathroom is not of the same standard as the remainder of the apartment, with no shower but a bath, where one needs to sit down to wash as the ceiling is too low. Some more attention to detail and clearing of unnecessary clutter would make this a great apartment.

The room is very large, has a complete kitchen, there is a large balcony with mountain view, free parking is available, supermarket is right nearby, some restaurants are available nearby too. We got some tickets with price reduction on various activities around, but we did not get to use them, unfortunately. It was quiet.

The room was in the attic and because of this the shower is pretty difficult to use. There were also some wi-fi issues, we did not manage to connect. There is mobile signal available for good enough speeds and we used our own. Not really a disadvantage, but keep in mind that you have to climb two floors of narrow stairs to get to the room, which might be a challenge if you have luggage, disabilities or kids.

We received a lovely welcome from the owners, and we were especially grateful for the help that we received from the "man of the house" taking some of our copious amounts of luggage up the two flights of stairs required to reach the apartment. We were also given a Chiemgau Karte each as part of the rental. This entitled us to discounts to local attractions (many discounts were in fact 100%) - and helped us to choose where to visit during our stay. Beautiful view from the balcony - the mountains are glorious, especially at sunset. The local town (Inzell) is very pretty in itself, and was friendly to tourists - not surprising as there does seem to be a LOT of holiday accommodation in the town. Almost every type of shop and amenity is available. And there are some friendly bars if you are looking for a late night schnapps.

The stairs to the apartment are very steep. Not a problem for us (despite our advanced years, we can still manage such things), but please be aware of this if you have mobility issues. The advert indicated we would have a tumble dryer - but that wasn't the case for our apartment. Not a problem, as the washing dried outside on the balcony in no time anyway.

Good location - spacious apartment and very well equipped kitchen. Great welcome from the hosts.
